William “Billy” McNamara has been an animal activist for over twenty years. He was on the original Sea Shepherd crew that broke the story on the killing cove in Taiji that later became the subject for the Academy Award winning documentary, THE COVE. Billy has worked in the field of domestic animals as well as exotics; he and Alison Eastwood, created, produced and co-hosted a series for National Geographic entitled ANIMAL INTERVENTION, in which they rescued and re-located exotic animals.
